Do You Meet Eligibility Requirements?
To become an educator on our teacher portal, you must meet the following criteria and pass a background screening. Appropriate candidates for this program include:
Basic sign language competency
State-certified general education and special education teachers
Related service personnel (e.g., speech/language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists) who wish to become teachers of students who are deaf and hard of hearing
Bachelor’s degree or higher, with thirty semester hours in exceptional student education
Sign language interpreters who wish to become teachers of students who are deaf and hard of hearing
